Mad About Photography

Welcome to my site.

Photography, for me, started in my fifth year at high school, when I and two friends joined Mr. Royle's Photography Club. I learnt very simple development techniques and, as I was wont to do in my teens, my interest waned. Many years later, back in 2006 to be precise, I rediscovered the beauty of photography - the digital age! I bought a Kodak Z750 and proceeded to snap away. Most of the pictures on this site are from this little piece of ingenuity.

As I developed, I dabbled with textures and landscapes, flora and fauna. As my passion grew, I invested in a Canon DSLR and lots of books! I have taught myself from this literature and am still learning to this day, having not quite got the hang of my trusty Canon! Eventually, I see myself going to college - never being too old to learn!

I hope you enjoy these pictures as those around me seem to do. These are just a small sample and my portfolio grows daily. I would eventually like to 'go into the family business' (my Uncle, Mike Smith, is a very popular artist with his own site www.colouredimages.com) so perhaps, one day, my work will sell to those who appreciate sublime images.
